RESIDENCE FEES

You have a choice about how to pay your residence fees. You can pay:

  • in 1 instalment at the beginning of the academic year
  • in 3 instalments by cheque or credit card at the beginning of each term
  • in 8 instalments by direct debit from a UK bank account (1st Dec - 1st July)

Please note that your payments will automatically default to 3 instalments unless you make alternative arrangements with the College Finance Office in advance.

Payments can be made by direct debit, by credit or debit card, by cheque from a UK bank account, by wire transfer or internet banking, or for overseas students by 'uni-pay'. Further information can be found at the How to Pay Your Fees link below.

If you have any questions about paying Residence Fees please contact College Finance Team at aidans.finance@durham.ac.uk.

ID VERIFICATION

Please note: In order to register you must bring with you your passport or photographic UK driving licence. UK students without either item can bring an ORIGINAL birth certificate.

  • You must bring a Photo ID
  • Previous Durham University students (for example, if you completed a course last year) must bring their old Campus Card with them as this must be collected before your new card can be issued.
