Fees and Funding

Residence charge

The cost of college accommodation is reviewed annually.

Charges are billed termly and payment is within two weeks of the start of each term.

Other fees

In addition to residence charges covering the cost of living in College, all new undergraduate  students are invited to join the Junior Common Room (JCR). Your College JCR is the representative body of undergraduate students at St Aidan’s. This Common Room also organises a wide range of extra-curricular activities and events. To help fund the organisation and JCR facilities/events all undergraduates are invited to make a one-off membership payment.

All new postgraduate students are invited to join the Senior Common Room (SCR).

Financial aid

In addition to the scholarships above, there is the opportunity for students in financial difficulties to apply for help from the University.

The Joel Donovan QC Law Scholarship

St Aidan's College are delighted to encourage applications to The Joel Donovan QC Law Scholarship which offer support to UK Black Heritage Students of African, Caribbean, Dual, or Mixed heritage joining the undergraduate LLB Law programme in Autumn 2022.
