A FREE Conference over 4 days exploring the research themes and challenges from two EPSRC funded Network+ projects led by the Net Zero Research Team at Durham University. The Networks focus on Hydrogen Fuelled Transportation and the Decarbonisation of Heating and Cooling. This Conference brings together invited energy experts to discuss their views on the current state of play and research and innovation challenges in the technology and implementation of netzero approaches, there will also be opportunity for networking and panel discussions, together with an introduction to the latest videos and publications.
Each day will commence at 10.30 and finish by 14.30.
Day 1: Hydrogen Transportation - Speakers will cover applications in Aviation, Marine, Rail, Road and Off-road environments
Day 2 : Hydrogen Systems - Speakers will cover the technologies and challenges in production, distribution, conversion and storage
Day 3: Energy and Heating Systems - Speakers will cover the energy technologies for heating and cooling including energy systems, geothermal, heat pumps, hydrogen and cooling
Day 4: Heating and Cooling Sector Challenges. Speakers will cover the challenges in residential, retail, commercial and industrial environments.
Each day will include an opportunity for panel discussion and a networking luncheon
