“Energy Queens: Breaking Barriers in the Energy Sector" brings together influential women from industry, academia, and local government who are shaping the future of energy. Chaired by distinguished energy expert Professor Barbara Vest OBE, this International Women's Day panel spotlights the diverse paths women are forging in what has traditionally been a male-dominated field.
Our accomplished panellists will share their personal journeys into the energy sector, discussing their current roles, educational backgrounds, and the challenges they've navigated along the way. Through candid conversation, they'll explore both the obstacles and opportunities for women in energy, from the boardroom to the research lab to public policy.
Whether you're a student considering a career in energy, a professional seeking insights, or anyone interested in diversity in STEM, this session offers unique perspectives on breaking barriers and building success in the energy sector. Join us for an inspiring discussion about empowering the next generation of women leaders in energy.
