Durham University 'Study Group' have received global recognition within the Global Education Industry, being nominated for the highly prestigious PIEoneer Award.

The ‘Study Group’ International Study Centre is based at our Queen’s Campus site in Stockton, and we are proud to announce that the ‘Study Group’ have been nominated in this year’s PIEoneer awards, in the category, ‘Student Support’. The PIEoneer awards, which recognise high achievements across the Global Education Industry, are highly prestigious and the nomination recognising the partnership work with Durham University to integrate the international students in a range of enrichment opportunities. The successful Durham University collaboration with the Study Centre has led to students taking part in sport at all levels, including representing Team Durham, the introduction of college sport teams for the first time this year and a full social sports timetable at Queen’s Campus.

Students have also had the opportunity to take part in volunteering projects, music productions and events, notably a very successful Global week. The Student Enrichment Directorate have been pivotable in collaboration work and enabling the partnership to run smoothly and providing an overall experience for the International Students.
