Dr Ruszczyk co-led the opening session of the Asia Regional Humanitarian Partnership Week in Bangkok

The theme of the week was 'Sparking Global Change through Local Solutions in Humanitarian Action' .The first session, which took place on 10-12th December, encouraged participants to think about how local actors and actions can compel more equitable, inclusive and diverse participants.

During the event, there were over 400 participants from 56 countries discussing intersections between humanitarianism, climate change, peace building, development and disasters.
