As part of Durham Global Week, we are delighted to announce the shortlists for the Global Curriculum and Global Student Experience awards.

Individuals and teams from across the University have received nominations for their contributions to our cultural diversity and the impact made by projects, partnerships and collaborations on a global level.

There are nine award categories:

  • Global Curriculum
  • Global Student Experience
  • Global Volunteering
  • Global College
  • Lifetime Achievement Award
  • Global Professional Services
  • International Partnership
  • Local to Global
  • Respect, Fairness and Equity

There are 3 shortlists for the Global Curriculum and Global Student Experience award categories and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 10 March 2023.

Global Curriculum Award

This award recognises an initiative which brings an international dimension/experience to the curriculum, making it more appealing and relevant to our diverse body of students and delivering benefits to their future employability.

Global Student Experience Award

This award recognises an extracurricular activity which supports our international work and provides opportunities for students to enhance their intercultural understanding and develop as global citizens.
