Department ranked 11th in the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025

Our Department has been ranked 11th in the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.
The rankings, announced in March 2025 assessed over 19,100 subjects from almost 5,000 institutions across the world, based on academic and employer reputation, citations per academic paper, impact and quality of research and international research collaboration factors.
The Department has increased its ranking from 16th in 2024 and has consistently been ranked as amongst the very best in the world.
The scores include rankings of 'citations per paper' in the 'research and discovery' section. Here the Department scored 94.6, putting it second in the world.
