Durham University Polo Club has recently announced the move to Leadenham Polo Club, in Lincolnshire, for this academic year. This exceptional venue was established by professional polo player James Reeve, who is passionate about the sport and providing accessible and affordable means for people to play it, whilst still maintaining first-rate facilities, coaching and horses.

All club training will now take place at this new facility, which boasts one of the country's best polo fields, which is both laser-levelled and irrigated, as well as a stick and ball field and schooling menage alongside this. They have also recently unveiled their brand new fully floodlit all-weather facility which spans 5000 square meters. DUPC members will have the opportunity to ride a number of Leadenham's very talented polo ponies, which come from Argentinian bloodlines, and are suitable for various levels of rider competency. These ponies will also be available for the club's use in tournaments and for chukka hire.

DUPC has had the privilege of fostering a relationship with Leadenham Polo Club over the course of the past year, as many of its members have played chukkas and competed in tournaments at this facility during the previous summer polo season. The DUPC Executive team share a strong enthusiasm for the club's move to Leadenham, which will facilitate a promising year of polo development and anticipated competitive achievements ahead.
