Postgraduate Open Day Wednesday 13 November

Attend our In-person Open Day, your way! Our Open Day is a great way to see Durham city and experience the University first hand.

We will have a range of activities on throughout the day, so you can tailor the Open Day to your schedule.

How to get involved

Information Fairs and Drop In

Postgraduate Information Fair - TLC406 13:30 - 15:00 hrs

Staff from professional support services Admissions, DCAD, Careers and Enterprise Centre, Student Finance and Immigration, Scholarships, Student Enrichment, International Office, Student Ambassadors, Development and Alumni Relations, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Postgraduate Colleges Hub -  TLC407 13:30 - 15:00 hrs

College representatives from a range of the 17 Colleges at Durham will be on hand to chat about their college including rooms, facilities and student activities, the Accommodation and Allocations office will also be on hand to advise of the application process for membership and accommodation requests and seeking private accommodation.  

Library and Collections - Bill Bryson Library 14:00-16:00 hrs

Drop in and chat to staff from Library and Collections about our resources and facilities at Durham.

 

Open Day Tours 

 

Discover Durham Tours - 10:00 hrs - 11:00 hrs

Student-led tours with our amazing ambassadors will take place in the morning, these are a great option to see more of the University and City. Booking is required via the form.  

Transport to the Teaching and Learning Centre is available from the Train Station, the shuttle bus will leave the Train Station from 09.30 hrs. (Booking is not required for the shuttle bus).  

 

Ustinov College Tour - 11.45-12:30 hrs

 

Led by staff at Ustinov College, with the opportunity to look at some of our accommodation and facilities at Durham's Postgraduate exclusive college. Booking is required. 

Transport to the college is available, the shuttle bus will leave the Teaching and Learning Centre at 11.30 hrs to drop off close to the college. (Booking is not required for the shuttle bus).  And return you to the TLC after the tour.
