For Discussion: Accommodating Neurodiverse People in Training and Practice of Research

We welcome staff and PGR students to our discussion on how we might better accommodate Neurodiversity (for example, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Dyslexia) within our research and practice. Perhaps your research is with Neurodiverse people, or you are Neurodiverse yourself, or you're just interested in the topic!

This session will be explicitly stim-positive: attendees are requested to be mindful of others' needs in this space. Stims are self-stimulating actions such as flapping, rocking, and so on, which autistic people may use to self-regulate. We will also provide a quiet space in an adjoining office which attendees are welcome to use if overwhelmed.

For PGR Students & Staff.

Our Café conversations are in-person and free fresh coffee/tea is on offer!

No need to sign up, just turn up.

This is a hybrid event. Click here to join online.
