Research Resources

Durham University either hosts or is in close proximity to an unrivalled cluster of world-class research resources. Durham's Research Centres are interdisciplinary hubs. They bring together individuals from across the University around particular research themes. In doing so they raise the profile of their areas of focus and the academics involved with them, help to plan for and enhance impact and provide a more supportive and rich research environment. They are important for the delivery of the University's research mission. Approval and review of Research Centres is undertaken by Faculty Research Committees.
