Eyes and Vision

The work here ranges from using Adaptive optics to image the back of the eye in living human patients through to to watching the development of the lens in the eye in Zebrafish. The team are also working with Occuity a company based in reading to use images and data recorded from the back of the eye to assess clinical conditions including Septic Shock. Dr Alistair Bounds, a former PDRA in CfAI is leading this work having been awarded an industrial Future Leaders Fellowship.
