In celebration of International Yoga Day, we welcomed Naresh Rana, the Vice Consul General of India in Birmingham and Kristian Pellissier, Relationship Manager for Dance, North Arts Council England to the Botanic Garden on 20 June 2023.
The main event that took place during the visit was a performance by 8 traditional theatre artists from Mangalore, India (Yakshadruva Patla Foundation) hosted by Devika Dance Theatre.
Our collaboration with the Consulate General of India builds on our connections in India through initiatives in the UK-India Education Partnership Agreement and research into biotechnology and healthcare.
