AstroLab Telescopes at Durham
We have four telescopes on the roof of the Physics building:
- West Dome: a 14-inch Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain LX200GPS
- East Dome: a 14-inch Meade LX200-ACF
- Far-East Dome: a 16-inch Meade (being commissioned)
- DRACO2: a remote/robotic 14-inch Meade LX200GPS
All four telescopes are currently used for direct imaging and are equipped with SBIG or QSI CCD detectors.
