Annual Trend Monitoring of Sexual Misconduct and Violence

Durham University maintains a central recording of disclosed and reported incidents of sexual misconduct and violence and related policy breaches as defined under the Sexual Misconduct and Violence Policy in order to review trends impacting students and employees. Identifying and understanding these trends allows the University to adapt prevention and response initiatives for the safety of our community. This information is presented annually in the Sexual Misconduct & Violence Annual Trend Monitoring Paper for the previous academic year. These papers are made available for the University community, the public and those seeking data for Freedom of Information Requests so they can freely access this information and to demonstrate transparency in how the University engages in prevention and response initiatives in this area.
