Sexual Health

The Student Support and Wellbeing Directorate work in collaboration with the NHS County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust Sexual Health Team to provide C-Cards, Sexual Health Roadshows, resources and student signposting.

Part of this partnership has meant we are now able to offer students access to a Sexual Health Clinic ran by NHS nurses every Thursday, 10am-4pm, in term time at Maiden Castle. To make an appointment please call 0191 372 8700.

If you can not make the Thursday clinic for whatever reason St Margaret's Place offer appointments Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am till 7pm, appointments can be made by calling 0191 372 8700.

The NHS off er a range of online and by post Sexual Health Services students can access.

Current students can visit out internal Sexual Health pages.

It is beneficial that you are still registered with a Durham GP for your wellbeing and to access medical help when you need it.

You can find all the information on how to do this on our Essential Medical Information page.
