Location

Trevelyan College is located 'on the Hill', the colloquial term for the group of Durham Colleges situated around South Road. It’s a 5-minute walk from Lower Mountjoy (Durham’s main campus, where lots of Department buildings are clustered), the Bill Bryson Library (the main University library), and the Palatine Centre. We are a short, 20-minute walk from the city centre and are situated on a main bus route.

Trevelyan is set on beautiful grounds. We have various gardens and green spaces, as well as an outdoor all-weather sports court. Our students make good use of our outdoor areas during the summer, with several of our large summer events being held on the College grounds.
