The Nest

Our South College bar, The Nest, boasts great facilities and hosts regular events including welcome events for Freshers, karaoke, quiz nights and JCR meetings. The Nest is located on the ground floor of the Pitcairn Building. It can also be used for guest lectures, talks and seminars.

During the day, The Nest can be used as a place for students to study, work on group projects, or socialise. In the evening The Nest serves alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. During Easter Term, it hosts breakfasts. The Nest has state of the art tech allowing for social events of all types, be it a student performance, watching a sporting event, or a dance. The Nest shares an air wall with the JCR. This can be opened up to increase capacity and allows for larger scale events.
