Student Support and Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our students is a fundamental part of our mission to offer an outstanding student experience. Working with the University’s Professional Support Services, we offer immediate support and proactive wellbeing campaigns. Our student support activity is led by our Assistant Principal, Lynn Preston, and our Student Support Administrator, Elysia Scott; though any of our College Officers will be happy to help. We also work closely with our student welfare team to ensure we offer a comprehensive service.

If you need support, there should always be a member of staff in the Pitcairn Building who can help. Staff operate an open-door policy where possible. If there are no staff immediately available, please speak to reception.

If you are unwell and it is affecting your academic commitments, please get in touch. Where there is the possibility that you might pass on any infection, please contact the Student Support Team by phone or e-mail in the first instance.

If you need immediate mental health support, please go to our Counselling Service.
