Prof Nigel Glover FRS will speak on 'Interactions: weak, strong, and human'. Grey College is hosting this event on Tuesday 4th March 6.15 to 7.30pm in Holgate Conference Room, Grey College. All staff and students are welcome to attend.

Prof Alan Martin is an emeritus professor in the Physics Department, and last year stood down from his leadership of the Grey College Senior Common Room after 20 years as President. This lecture is to mark Alan's contribution to the College and the Department. 
Prof Nigel Glover will speak on 'Interactions: weak, strong, and human'. His talk will span the discovery of the W boson particle at CERN in 1983 to its effect on ‘BSM physics' today, with emphasis on the relevant work of prominent Grey SCR member Alan Martin. This promises to be an accessible and engaging talk on some incredible science. All are welcome to attend.
