Join us for Durham City Run Festival 2024

Durham alumni are eligible to claim a special discount for this year’s Durham City Run Festival.

A highlight of the summer in Durham is the joyous celebration of running for all levels and ages that is the Durham City Run Festival. The 8th festival takes place from Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 July, with our support as a major partner.

To celebrate, we’re offering Durham alumni a special 10% discount on 5K or 10K race entries!

In return, we would love for entrants to share their running stories and Durham City Run Festival experiences with us, so that we can share with our wider alumni community and give a truly authentic picture of what it’s like to take part in the festival.

So whether you’re documenting your training as a running regular, filming your race start for the first time, or taking photos near the finish line to mark your achievement, we’d be happy to hear from everyone, regardless of age or ability.

How to claim your discount

Please send us an email including the following information:

  • Full name (maiden name also if applicable)
  • Which college you were in
  • Which race distance you’re planning to enter

Alumni can claim one discount per person on a first-come, first-served basis. Discount codes must be redeemed by Monday 3 June.
