The purpose of the Staff Conference is to bring the University Strategy to life and provide an update on how our activities are making an impact locally, nationally and globally.
Remember your reusable cups!
Last year, only 5 per cent of hot drinks sold in DU cafes were served in a reusable cup. That's 3000k of single use cups going straight into the bin.

Durham is a Sustainability Institution of the Year finalist in Green Gown Awards 2024
We have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Sustainability Institution of the Year category award in this year's UK & Ireland Green Gown Awards for our project entitled Turning Sustainability Ambition into Action, which recognises our continued efforts to deliver on our sustainability ambition.

Durham is a Creating Impact finalist in Green Gown Awards 2024
We have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Creating Impact category award in this year's UK & Ireland Green Gown Awards for our project entitled 93 to 19 – The Odorbac Initiative.
