Join Greenspace for a series of nature walks to get to know your campus and help us identify plant, animal and insect species.
We are hosting a series of free guided walks in and around our campus, open to all staff and students. 
When and where?
• Tue 25 March, 12:00 - 13:00, meet at Mountjoy reception
• Tue 1 April, 12:00 - 13:00, meet at Bill Bryson Library
• Tue 8 April, 12:00 13:00, meet at Palace Green
• Tue 15 April, 12:00 - 13:00, meet at Bill Bryson Library
• Tue 22 April, 12:00 - 13:00, meet at Mountjoy reception
If you wish to help us identify and document the amazing range of species across our estate, follow the
steps below in preparation for the walk (please note, this is optional):
• Download the iNaturalist app
• Create an account
• Join ‘Durham University Wildlife Observations’
And don’t forget to upload your photos to the ‘explore your neighbourhood’, ‘connect with nature’ and
‘biodiversity walks’ activities on the My Greenspace app to earn a massive 750 points for you and your college or department and to be in with a chance of winning one of four monthly vouchers!
