Undergraduate study
For a maximum of 4 years which can include:
A foundation year
An integrated Masters programme
or
A 3 year undergraduate programme followed directly by a 1 year Masters programme.
have a household income below £42,875.00 as determined by Student Finance England
be resident in one of the following North East postal regions; DH, DL, NE, SR or TS with preference given to applicants from Bishop Auckland

A character reference from one of your teachers in support of your scholarship application to be sent by email to scholarship.application@durham.ac.uk. Please ensure your referee submits the reference on letter headed paper which contains:
Scholarship applications will be considered on the basis of their ability to meet the eligibility criteria, academic potential, personal statement and the reference provided.
In addition to the information supplied on the scholarship application form, the University will gather contextual information to support the assessment of scholarship applications.
