Summary

Durham University is a proud partner of COLFUTURO, a Colombian non-profit foundation established in 1991 with the support of the National Government and the private sector. COLFUTURO’s main objective is to provide financial support and increase the possibilities of Colombian citizens to access high-quality postgraduate study programmes abroad. COLFUTURO awards take the form of a scholarship loan of up to US$50,000. Students may be awarded COLFUTURO scholarships for 80% of the loaned amount, provided they accomplish certain requirements.

Durham University is pleased to offer a full tuition fee scholarship for one COLFUTURO beneficiary accepted onto a Taught Postgraduate programme. All other students (Postgraduate Taught and Research) in receipt of COLFUTURO funding will receive a 20% discount on their tuition fee for the duration of their programme. The candidate for the full tuition fee waiver will be selected by Durham University after the results of the Colfuturo call are announced in May 2021.
