Innovation Speaker Series with Esther Crawford

Next up in our transformative speaker series is Esther Crawford, Director of Product at Meta. Esther is an award-winning pioneer in Millennial marketing who spearheaded ground breaking digital campaigns in social and video for Fortune 500 companies. She previously led product marketing for Silicon Valley startups including Coach.me and Stride. After finding early success on YouTube, Esther started a social marketing agency whose clients included Weight Watchers, Sears Holdings and more. She sold her screen-sharing app, Squad, to Twitter in 2020.
Esther will talk us through her journey from Durham to Silicon Valley - it's not to be missed!

Reflect: EDAPT encourages participants to develop a growth mindset by integrating Sarasvathy's effectuation principles. Through the 2 day programme, learn to approach your research and challenges with creativity and confidence, leveraging available resources to navigate funding, career, impact and reach linked to your values and interests.
Explore: The programme enhances key skills essential for academic and professional success, including communication, problem-solving, and time management. By fostering creativity and innovation within research domains, EDAPT enables participants to explore new ideas, methodologies, and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Act: Participants apply their learning through self directed collaborative challenges, strengthening their critical thinking and project management skills. The programme culminates in academic-style poster presentations, refining their ability to communicate findings effectively to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
