'Explore More' Careers Week

Monday 17th - Friday 21st November 2025

'Explore More' Careers Week provides a platform for employers to engage with the next generation of professionals across sustainability, non-profits, the public sector, and the creative industries. This week offers a unique opportunity to showcase career pathways, share industry insights, and connect with talented students exploring their future options.

This year, employers can participate in panel discussions, interactive sessions, and industry-led workshops to highlight their commitment to sustainability, public service, education, and innovation. Whether demonstrating the impact of careers in environmental stewardship, policy-making, or leadership in disadvantaged schools, this event enables organisations to engage directly with motivated students seeking meaningful careers and inspiration from experienced professionals.

Contact us at careers.events@durham.ac.uk if you want to be involved in shaping the workforce of the future by inspiring, informing, and recruiting the next generation of talent.

Disclaimer

Durham University (Careers and Enterprise Service)  is committed to providing an impartial and inclusive service that supports all students to explore their career or entrepreneurial ambitions. On occasion, there may be businesses, industries and employers in attendance at an organised activity, event or fair with whom some of the university community might choose to demonstrate their disagreement.  We fully respect the right of students to express their views peacefully, and the University will take appropriate steps to manage any associated risks appropriately and proportionately.

Where appropriate, participating organisations will be asked to provide a risk assessment and ensure their representatives are suitably briefed and prepared for engagement with our diverse student community.
