Teaching and Research Technical Services

Victoria Greener Advanced Technician Teaching and Research Technical Services (TRTS).

I am an Advanced Technician in the Teaching and Research Technical Services (TRTS) team in the Physics Department. With a passion for supporting both teaching and research, I play a key role in providing technical expertise and ensuring the smooth operation of teaching and academic activities across the department.

In addition to my technical responsibilities, I am an active member of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equality & Accessibility (IDEA) Committee, where I serve as the Technical Representative. In this role, I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment within the department, ensuring that the perspectives of technical staff are represented in key discussions and initiatives that promote equality and diversity. I recently became a member of the LGBT+ Staff Network team, where I would like to continue promoting an inclusive environment for the whole University.

Alongside my technical duties I am also a Departmental Listener, this is a voluntary role, where staff and students can speak in confidence, we offer support or signpost for further help if needed.

A qualified First Aider.
