Biography

Maddy Keightley-Phillipps

Maddy is a PhD Researcher in the Department of Theology and Religion's Centre for Catholic Studies. Her research focuses on the readership of early modern English Catholic women, both lay and religious, and their transnational book networks. Her project is titled: 'English Catholic Women in the Early Modern European Book World: Reading and Transnational Book Distribution, c. 1560-1800.' She is funded by the AHRC Northern Bridge Consortium.
