Biography
Liang is a PhD student who commenced his study in 2024. He is passionate about the interactions between culture, society and individuals. His previous research has primarily examined the effects of cultural attitudes and values on individual traits and states, such as meaning of life, fear of death, and emotions.
Liang has a keen interest in the complex interplay between cultural attitudes and intergroup contact. His current PhD project investigates how cultural attitudes and intergroup volition shape individuals’ willingness to engage in and uptake intergroup contact, employing a mix-methods approach.
