Hannah is the Operations Administrator for the Department and is the first point of contact for visitors to Reception and for general enquiries at engineering.adminoffice@durham.ac.uk. She supports the administrative functions of the Department including managing the Academic visitor process, organising and supporting events, assisting with travel and supporting the publicity and outreach teams.

Hannah graduated with a BA (Hons) in History from Durham in 2010. She pursued a career in Museums and Heritage, studying for an MA in Museum Studies at Newcastle University and joining the Education Team at the National Railway Museum in York. Hannah completed her PhD thesis, 'An exploration of the 'railway family', 1900-1948' in 2017 as part of the AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award scheme with Keele University and the National Railway Museum. Following a move to Munich, Hannah began a career in Retail Management before moving back to Durham in 2024.
