Staff profile

David is the Industrial Liaison Senior Officer in the Engineering Department supporting staff and students to connect with industrial partners. He has spent more than 14 years working either in industry or providing innovation support to industry. Before coming to Durham, he worked at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult network at WMG, University of Warwick and The Manufacturing Technology Centre. David received his PhD from University of Bath in Mechanical Engineering, which he studied part time. He specialises in metrology and digitalisation, with significant interests in human factors including creativity.
