Seminar Topic - RIOTing for agent-based models! by Dr Jennifer Badham

Abstract: Agent-based modelling is a type of simulation where individual simulated people (or other entities) take actions based on their own characteristics and situations. There are established protocols (ODD, TRACE) and repositories (CoMSES) that support RIOT for ABM. I will discuss the ways in which I use, or not, these tools for my ABM research, paying particular attention to how they support or interfere with good RIOT practice and wider communication objectives.
