Webinar on 27 September: Bryan Watters on moral injury

We are delighted to welcome Bryan Watters to start our 2023/24 webinar programme. Bryan is Professor of Defence Leadership at Cranfield University, having had a 37-year career in the British Army, serving in leadership roles in Northern Ireland, Rhodesia, Belize, Bosnia, Iraq and Kosovo.

Bryan is the Head of the Centre for Defence Leadership and Management, Director of the Cranfield Defence Leadership MSc and Academic Director of the MOD Senior Strategic Leadership Programme. In the last three years he has run Strategic Leadership Programmes in South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

At the ICMI’s conference in April, Bryan gave a brief but moving and illuminating account of the morally anguished decisions that warfare creates and we look forward to welcoming him back for what we’re sure will be a very valuable webinar.
