Join us online for a stimulating conversation into the nature of knowledge in early modern science. Celebrating the recent publication of Debapriya Sarkar’s Possible knowledge: the literary forms of early modern science (Penn Press, 2023), we have a fantastic line-up of panellists to discuss with Professor Sarkar the implications of her ground-breaking research into how the literary form enabled the creation of alternative epistemologies.
For the event we are joined by Hannah J. Crawforth, Kings College London; Yarí Pérez Marín, Durham University; Joe Moshenska, University College, Oxford, and Debapriya Sarkar herself.
