Blackfrairs Lecture
One of Britain's most celebrated 'reconstruction cooks', the legendary Peter Brears will produce a re-enactment of medieval dining and etiquette in Blackfriars Banquet Hall. Peter has written many award-winning historical food books over the years including his hefty volume 'Cooking & Dining in Medieval England' which won the prestigious Andre Simon Food Book of the Year award and also remains Blackfriars go-to reference manual.
The event will start at 11am with tea and coffee; a suitably delicious medieval 3-course lunch will follow.
