You will discover how to create a lasting impressions, give perfect presentations and work with communities. Whether you are new to engagement or looking to get new perspectives on what you can do to improve this workshop is packed with tips, tricks and strategies for making the most of your engagement.
Suitable for both those with little or no experience of public engagement and those looking renew their enthusiasm and refresh their skills.
Learning objectives
Jamie Gallagher is an award-winning freelance communicator and engagement professional with ten years’ experience in the delivery and evaluation of quality engagement projects around the world. Working across dozens of institutions and subject areas he has helped researchers improve the reach, profile and impact of research engagement in almost every academic discipline. Specialising in evaluation Jamie also provides consultancy services to charities and universities helping them to demonstrate their impact and understand their audiences and stakeholders.
