We are delighted to announce that a vacancy has opened in the Discovery Research Platform Operations Team for a new Events and Fellowship Coordinator.

We are looking for a new, full time Events and Fellowship Coordinator to deliver exemplary operational and administrative support for events, meetings, workshops, conferences and other related activities.­­

The role encompasses a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities around two main areas of work: events and the Fellowship programme. As an Events and Fellowship Coordinator, you will liaise with Platform and Institute for Medical Humanities staff to support in the design and delivery of in-person, hybrid and online events. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, coordinating venues, catering and delegate experience; ensuring the smooth running of events on the day; and leading on evaluation and reporting.  You will also be the first point of contact for visiting Fellows, helping to plan and support their fellowship activity and visits to Durham, assisting fellows to engage with the wider Platform community, and directing enquiries to other areas when appropriate.

This is a 3-year fixed term Grade 5 post, with the potential for an extension. Informal enquiries can be directed to Operations Manager, Carolyn Blake.
