About the ZineUk Constitution Zine Banner

Constitutions contain the rules governing the exercise of state power and are statements of the values of a nation.

But the UK Constitution is not written in any single document, which makes it difficult to find.

After searching down the back of the sofa, asking our parents and partners if they’d used it recently, and finding that most constitution law text books lacked pictures and are expensive, the staff and students of Durham Law School (with one historian and a secondary school teacher) decided to draw up a new explanation of the UK Constitution.

Zines are self-published magazines. Originating in the science fiction and punk communities, they are a cheep & quick way to get ideas and opinions into the wild.
