Speaker Bio

Dr Martijn van den Brink is an Assistant Professor in EU law at the Europa Institute, Leiden University. His research interests lie at the interface of EU constitutional law and political theory. His research has appeared in renowned international journals such as The Modern Law Review, International Journal of Constitutional Law, European Law Open, and the Journal of European Public Policy. In this talk, Dr van den Brink will discuss his work on the EU legislature, which was published in 2024 by Oxford University Press under the title Legislative Authority and Interpretation in the European Union.
