Recruitment to funded PhD Scholarships with the EPSRC CDT in Offshore Wind Energy Sustainability and Resilience, are now open until the 4th December 2024 for a September 2025 enrolment. There are 15 funded PhD scholarships including four projects to be based at Durham University.
Welcome to our 2024 Cohort for Multidisciplinary Centre for Postgraduate Training in Energy
On 11th October 2024, Dr Stuart Jones welcomed the 2024 Cohort for Multidisciplinary Centre for Postgraduate Training in Energy (CPT) to the start of Michaelmas term.
Our Multidisciplinary Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy (CDT) is one of the longest-running, largest and most successful CDTs at Durham University. Originally funded by EPSRC, DEI has worked to ensure that the CDT continues beyond the original research council funding.
The Ørsted scholarship for Energy Master's programme
We have a long-standing strategic partnership with Ørsted UK, the leading offshore wind developer. As part of this partnership, Ørsted offers annual bursaries to students on our Energy-related Master's programmes here at Durham.
