CSDLP Co-director Rozemarijn Roland Holst attended the hearings at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in Hamburg this week as a member of the delegation of the Commission of Small Island States on Climate Change and International Law (COSIS) in the request for an ITLOS Advisory Opinion on climate change submitted by COSIS. With over 38 states and international organisations participating, the oral proceedings continue until 25 September and can be followed here. Rozemarijn is a member of the legal team assisting COSIS in drafting its submissions to the Tribunal.
