A new Faculty research centre based at the Durham Law School, with the aim at advancing sustainable development through research across intersecting thematic areas, has launched their new website.
The Centre for Sustainable Development Law and Policy’s mission is to support the achievement of sustainable development in all its dimensions: environmental, economic, social. The Sustainable Development Goals serve as cross-cutting themes in research projects, policy work and collaborative initiatives, including education and training, gender, health and wellbeing. The CSDLP will work on various projects and with countries as well as with academic partners. The website, which is still a work in progress, has information on all the members and projects, as well as events and news related to the centre.
All interested colleagues within the Law School, Faculty and the wider University are cordially invited to join as members, please send an email to the centre for more information on how to join.
As a new centre we are also developing our external collaborations, please get in touch with us by email.
