The session will examine how scientific research and media narratives shape public understanding of vaping risks. Key topics include the discrepancies between scientific evidence and public perception, the role of media in constructing narratives about vaping, and the challenges of communicating nuanced health research. The workshop will serve to highlight current scientific data on vaping's health effects, explore how different stakeholders interpret and communicate these findings, and critically examine the ways in which media representation influences public attitudes towards vaping.
