Palatinate's TV branch, PalTV, was named Broadcaster of the Year for the third consecutive year in April by the National Student Television Association (NaSTA) at its awards ceremony in Manchester.
The NaSTA Awards is the highlight of the student television calendar in the UK with 20 categories, recognising all aspects of television production. The annual event brings together student journalists from across the UK to celebrate success across the industry.
As well as retaining the coveted Broadcaster of the Year category, PalTV also celebrated receiving several other awards:

PalTV is an independent student-led modern media organisation which was established in January 2021. With over 110 members, PalTV produces a wide variety of content including factual documentaries, news reports and entertainment videos.
Sydney Davies was appointed as PalTV’s first female Station Manager in November 2023. Sydney commented: “To be nationally recognised in 11 broadcasting categories, including the prestigious ‘Broadcaster of the Year’ award, is both an honour and a testament to our team’s outstanding creativity, hard work, and incredible talent. Congratulations to all whose work was nominated and awarded, and thank you to NaSTA for this opportunity.”
