We have a range of financial support available for eligible home fee paying students commencing postgraduate study this September. This includes our new scholarships, the Postgraduate Student Support Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship.
We’re offering 100 Postgraduate Support Scholarships for students who have a household income of £62,343 or less. The majority of our taught master’s and MRes programmes are eligible - except postgraduate diplomas, postgraduate certificates, PGCE programmes and integrated masters.
If you have achieved or are on track to achieve a First Class undergraduate degree, you may be eligible for our Dean’s Scholarship to study in our Faculties of Arts & Humanities or Social Sciences and Health. Most programmes are eligible, except Law and PGCE programmes.
If you hold a bachelor's or higher degree from Durham University, you are automatically eligible for the Alumni Fee Scholarship and do not need to apply separately.
It’s not possible to hold the Postgraduate Support Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship at the same time. However, you may be eligible for our Alumni Fee Scholarship and Postgraduate Support Scholarship or Dean’s Scholarship.
