Our Careers and Enterprise Team are inviting students to share their experiences and have an input to their services, by taking part in a series of Focus Groups and completing an online survey. The team are encouraging students to provide feedback on the activities and services they offer, to ensure they are meeting the needs of students seeking information or advice on employment.
The responses gathered during this project will be used to evaluate the current service and gather ideas for future developments, as well as making improvements to the services and support currently offered.
Receive a £20 voucher for taking part
Focus groups will take place between Tuesday 23 May – Tuesday 13 June, with participants only required to attend a single two-hour session. Students taking part in a Focus Group will be gifted a £20 voucher as a thank-you.
All opinions welcome
The Careers and Enterprise Team welcomes input from all students, regardless of whether they have used the Careers Service. They are hoping to attract interest from a diverse range of students, to ensure all voices and experiences are heard and considered.
Simon Brandwood, the newly appointed Director of Careers and Enterprise, explained; “It’s important to deliver a service that benefits students and helps them into employment and to continue to do that, we need to be listening to the views of our services users. That’s why we are asking for feedback and aiming to engage with even more students.”
Take part
Registration for the focus groups closes on Sunday 7 May at 11:59pm. Participants will be invited to attend a session by Monday 15 May.
If you are interested in taking part in the project and having your say to help improve Careers services, please complete the registration form.
If you would like to have your say, but are unable to attend a Focus Group, there will be an online survey that you can fill in. This has not yet been made public, but if you would like to complete it, please monitor the Careers & Enterprise social media channels as its release will be announced there.
