We have maintained our strong position in the National Student Survey (NSS). For the third year in a row, “overall satisfaction” scores placed us in the top 20% of both non-specialist and Russell Group universities.
Particularly noteworthy were scores in two important NSS domains: “teaching on my course” and “organisation and management.” The University also saw a significant increase in students reporting that library resources supported their learning. Alan Houston, the University’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education), said that “this reflects the exceptional skill and dedication of our staff, both inside and outside the classroom, even more so given the challenging times.”
