The title is: "Antiracism, Antislavery, and Anti-imperialism: Quobna Ottobah Cugoano's Thoughts and Sentiments on the Evil of Slavery (1787, 1788, 1791) in Context" and the speaker is John Marshall (Johns Hopkins University).

This year’s prestigious Annual Higginson Lecture will take place on Wednesday 22nd November 2023. The speaker is Phil Peel, BSc (Hons), MEng, CEng, FIMechE, Chief Engineer at Steam Turbines GE Vernova Steam Power, the 2022/23 President of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. The title is "The steam turbine and its future in a Net Zero world."
